Four stars is overly generous for the service we got, but the food is delicious. The place is definitely understaffed and undertrained. We had trouble any time we needed a server to bring us water, or our bill, or to take it when we paid. Part of that is where we were sitting, close to the window, behind a massive piller. But part of it was just because they had too few people doing way too much. It was also extremely loud. The room is open, with nothing to dampen the noise. There were a lot of people chatting very loudly and that was... unpleasant. The seats at the middle tables were pretty comfy, but the decor is oddly mismatched and if you're not careful you'll end up in a very uncomfortable seat - which will make the wait seem even more interminable. I had the French toast with berries, which was available even though it's not on the brunch menu, which was brought even though it was 9 and not yet 10 when brunch starts. It's good french toast, expected more berries for the price. The toast itself was not as thick as at most restaurants, but that meant I could eat it all without being too full. My husband had the country fried steak, he said it was good. We also bought donuts. They change daily, but today they had maple bacon, peach cobbler, milk & cookies, and Nutella fritter. We also bought an almond orange croissant. We've only tried the croissant and the peach cobbler donut, but they were both amazing. I don't know if I'd come back for breakfast, but I will certainly buy more baked goods here. Though the wait for those is still long and chaotic. Pro tip: there are restrooms in the cafe, but they're not super visible. When you come in turn left, then left again. There's another set in the hotel lobby. Both are single occupancy, which is madness in a location with so many people.

We stay at the Hotel a few times during the year and while the breakfast is okay, I was sad to see all the baked goods disappeared. The menu is limited. It’s cute and clean inside but don’t sit behind the pole they won’t see you:) As far as a hotel breakfast place it’s nice. I am updating this because today we had a very nice experience. Hostess was friendly, waitress was nice and I am guessing the manager was nice and engaging with staff and customers. I do wish they would bring back the baked goods as it is part of their name. If they are not going to have them then update the website to reflect that.

Came here on a whim after there was a long wait at tipsy biscuit. They didn't have their full breakfast menu that was listed on their website, but we found something to order regardless. Food was fantastic. Their quiche crust was perfect. We really enjoyed their blueberry lemon waffles as well. Prices were really fair. I would definitely come here again.

Got to try this cute little cafe inside Hotel Elkhart downtown. The atmosphere was nice , staff was friendly and attentive. Food was great with the exception the avocado toast was bland . All in all a nice experience! Wish they had alittle more to choose from on the menu for breakfast .

You can't see the inside of these waffles but the are spinach and cheddar cheese with a lightly breaded slightly spicy chicken breast cutlet between them. The syrup is smokey with chili flakes. Top it off with a charred piece of smoked sausage! Oh boy was it good. Definitely going back to try more items on the menu.

This cute restaurant is inside a hotel. I was greeted as I walked in from the hotel lobby. (I was not staying at the hotel)The white chocolate espresso I bought was brought to me in a togo cup. Water was in a cute little glass. The waffle I ordered was very good. The waffle itself was spinach flavored which was new but it was very good.

Stopped in to grab a coffee and a bite for breakfast. I was immediately greeted by one of the servers and offered a menu. I ordered the breakfast Sammie. The Sammie is a breakfast sandwich made from their house made cheddar and spinach waffle. The overall flavor was good, the waffle lacked a bit of crunch. And I would have like to have the spinach in smaller pieces throughout the waffle. The latte I ordered was good, a bit pricey for the size. Overall, nice experience may consider a second visit in the future.
